Neuland - Meine innere Stimme
Wie alle anderen in der Schule, gehe ich zuerst meine Freunde begrüßen. Es sind nicht viele. Ich habe nur zwei. Wenn ich den anderen Schülern zuschaue, sieht es so aus, als ob sie fast mit der ganzen Schule befreundet sind. Jeder ist mit jedem befreundet. Ich will auch so sein wie sie. Eine Extrovertierte, eine Menschen-Person, populär. Es wäre schön, angesprochen zu werden, das Gefühl zu haben, geliebt zu sein, viele Freunde zu haben. Es wäre besser, jemand anderer zu sein, als ich selbst.
In den meisten Filmen vertragen sich die Populären mit jedem - auch wenn sie so tun, als ob sie besser als die anderen wären - Leute mögen sie trotzdem. Sie haben viele Freunde. Sie haben die Aufmerksamkeit, die viele Liebe. Vielleicht sollte ich mich ändern, damit die Leute mich auch mögen. Vielleicht muss ich mich ändern, um dazuzugehören und akzeptiert zu werden.
Muss ich?
Anscheinend schon. .
Ich spreche darüber mit meinen Freunden. Ich erzähle ihnen, wie gerne ich die Aufmerksamkeit der anderen haben möchte. Ich will akzeptiert werden, ich will mich an die Gesellschaft anpassen, auch wenn das heißt, dass ich mich ändern muss. Meine Freunde hören mir zu, aber sagen nichts, bis ich schließlich nach ihrer Meinung frage. Sie schauen einander an, dann fragen sie mich, „Sind wir nicht gut genug für dich?“ Ich denke darüber nach. Was meinen sie damit? Bevor ich sie dies jedoch fragen kann, stehen sie auf und gehen davon.
Ob sie nicht genug für mich sind? Wie kommen sie darauf? Wieso würden sie nicht genug für mich sein? Sie sind immer für mich da. Sie bringen mich zum Lachen bis ich weine. Sie sind meine Freunde. Echte Freunde. Sie sind mehr als ‘gut genug‘.
Ich befasse mich mit deren Frage und mit meinen Gedanken, und letztendlich begreife ich es.
Ich sehe es ein, dass meine innere Stimme falsch liegt. Ich muss gar nichts ändern, außer meine Gedanken. Die Stimme in meinem Kopf hat meine Gedanken manipuliert und dazu geführt, dass ich an mir selbst zweifle und glaube, dass ich mich ändern muss, um akzeptiert zu werden.
Aber, wie oft muss ich mich ändern? Einmal? Zweimal? Wie viele Male, damit ich von jedem akzeptiert werde?
Jeder hat ein anderes Bild von jedem. Die einen finden eine gewisse Person nett und sympathisch, die anderen finden sie frech und arrogant. Jeder hat eine andere Perspektive und somit ist es unmöglich von allen gemocht zu werden.
Die ‘nur‘ zwei Freunde, die ich habe, sind loyal und meine echte Freunde. Ich zwinge sie nicht, mich zu mögen. Sie akzeptieren mich für mich. Ich muss mich nicht für sie verstellen. Wieso sollte ich mich dann für die anderen verstellen?
Endlich weiß ich es, dass es nicht wichtig ist, einen großen Freundeskreis oder die Aufmerksamkeit fremder Menschen zu haben. Es ist wichtig, die Leute zu schätzen, die bereit sind, dich so zu nehmen wie du bist. Das habe ich realisiert, und das ist eine Lektion. Eine unerforschte Lebenslektion, die ich letztendlich, für mich entdeckt, habe. Diese neue Lektion ist Neuland.
